Clemson baseball faced off against Coastal Carolina in a thrilling 4-3 victory at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in the Clemson Regional. The No. 1 seed Tigers secured the win with Cam Cannarella's go-ahead RBI sacrifice fly in the ninth inning, following Alden Mathes getting hit by a pitch and Jacob Hinderleider's double.

Hinderleider's stellar performance, going 5-for-5 with a double, and Cannarella's three RBIs propelled Clemson to victory. The Tigers never trailed against the Chanticleers, setting up a showdown with the winner of Coastal Carolina and High Point for a chance to advance to the super regionals.

Aidan Knaak shined in his NCAA tournament debut, showcasing his talent with 90 pitches, six strikeouts, and setting a freshman strikeout record for Clemson. Despite his impressive performance, Clemson struggled to capitalize on opportunities, leaving runners on base and hitting just 6-for-21 with runners on in the game.
