Oklahoma softball launches 2021 vs Everybody NIL merchandise during WCWS run
Oklahoma Sooners debut "21 vs. Everybody" collection ahead of championship series, featuring star players and aiming for historic four-peat.
The highly anticipated "21 vs. Everybody" collection made its debut on Wednesday just in time for the championship series opener against Texas. This collection pays tribute to the 21 members of the team and embraces the mantra coined by stars Jayda Coleman and Rylie Boone, which the Sooners chant at the beginning of each game. The collection features four OU players, including Kinzie Hansen, Kierston Deal, and Riley Ludlam.
Athlete's Thread, led by Luke McGurrin, is thrilled to support these athletes in leveraging their personal brands for NIL opportunities to maximize their revenue potential. While the athletes focus on their performance on the field, Athlete's Thread works behind the scenes to ensure their off-field endeavors are successful.
Athlete's Thread has a track record of seizing key moments, such as celebrating memorable catches by players like Daniel Jackson and Ricky Pearsall. Now, the company is highlighting Coleman's game-winning home run, which propelled Oklahoma back to the final and kept their four-peat aspirations alive. Coleman's walk-off home run not only secured the win but also set a program record with 282 career runs scored, immortalized in her "Showtime" t-shirt.
Following the win over Florida, Oklahoma set up a championship series rematch with Texas, where they emerged victorious. Tiare Jennings kick-started the scoring with a home run in the first inning, leading the Sooners to an 8-3 win over the Longhorns and a 1-0 series lead. Kelly Maxwell delivered another stellar performance in the circle, striking out eight Texas batters while allowing just four hits, four walks, and three runs. With one win away from making history with the first four-peat in NCAA softball, Oklahoma has a chance to achieve this milestone on Thursday night.
