Lainey Wilson recently made a young fan's dream come true by inviting a Make-A-Wish child on stage during her appearance on the Today show. The 31-year-old country star performed songs off her upcoming album Whirlwind and surprised her superfan Payton, an 11-year-old with cystic fibrosis, by offering tickets to her Radio City Music Hall show.

Dressed in her signature black bell-bottoms with turquoise details, Lainey also hinted at a possible return to the hit series Yellowstone, despite star Kevin Costner confirming his departure. She performed songs like Heart Like A Truck, Watermelon Moonshine, Country's Cool Again, and Hang Tight Honey on the show.

Lainey joined the cast of Yellowstone in 2022 and expressed her desire to return for the next season, but she is still waiting for confirmation. She believes her involvement in the show will depend on co-creator Taylor Sheridan. The singer-turned-actress played Abby, an aspiring country music artist and love interest for Ian Bohen's Ryan, in the previous season.

While Lainey hopes to reprise her role in Yellowstone, her busy touring schedule may pose a challenge. She mentioned that her tour dates could clash with filming, potentially affecting her availability for the show. Despite the uncertainty, Lainey remains optimistic about her future on Yellowstone and eagerly awaits the call to return to the popular series.
