In a recent development, migrants who have been sleeping on the floors of Boston's Logan International Airport will no longer be allowed to do so. Massachusetts officials have informed migrants currently at the southern border that the state's shelter system is at full capacity.
Over 100 migrants have been using the airport as a makeshift shelter, but starting July 9, they will no longer be able to stay there. Instead, they will be offered free accommodation at a former minimum-security dorm-like facility in Norfolk, thanks to Gov. Maura Healey's announcement on Friday.
