Jonathan Majors Breaks Up Brawl Between High School Students in New Video

Jonathan Majors, star of "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," stopped a fight between two high school students in Hollywood.

In a remarkable display of bravery and intervention, actor Jonathan Majors stepped in to stop a violent altercation between two high school students on Monday afternoon. The incident, captured in a video obtained by TMZ, took place outside of Hollywood High School while Majors, 34, was enjoying lunch at an In-N-Out across the street. The footage shows two female students engaged in a physical altercation before Majors swiftly intervenes, physically separating them and diffusing the situation.

Since the incident, PEOPLE has reached out to the school for comment on the matter. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether any official statements will be made regarding the incident.

Following the incident, Jonathan Majors spoke to TMZ cameras later that day, expressing his message to the students involved as "Stay cool." When asked if he was simply trying to be helpful, Majors confirmed this and clarified that he did not personally know the two individuals involved in the brawl.

This incident comes just days after Majors' criminal trial, which pertains to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges, was delayed for a second time. The Marvel star appeared virtually before Judge Rachel S. Pauley in Manhattan Criminal Court, where it was decided that a new trial date would be set on Friday. The decision to delay the trial further was made after Majors' attorneys highlighted the need to address certain deficiencies in the discovery process.

The charges against Majors stem from an alleged domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female, for which he was arrested in March. At the time of his arrest, the NYPD released a statement confirming that a preliminary investigation had determined the involvement of a 33-year-old male in a domestic dispute. The victim reported being assaulted, and the male suspect was taken into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck but was in stable condition after receiving medical attention.

In response to these allegations, a representative for Jonathan Majors vehemently denied any wrongdoing on his part, stating, "He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up."

Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Majors' heroic intervention in the high school brawl showcases his commitment to maintaining peace and safety in his community. His actions serve as a reminder that even in the midst of personal challenges, individuals can make a positive impact and inspire others to do the same. Jonathan Majors' courage and willingness to step in when needed are commendable qualities that deserve recognition and appreciation.
