With the festival approaching, &TV artists have revealed their plans for this year's Diwali celebrations. Neha Joshi, Yogesh Tripathi, and Vidisha Srivastava have shared their excitement and preparations for the upcoming festival.
Neha Joshi, who plays Yashoda in Doosri Maa, is looking forward to celebrating Diwali with her family in Mumbai. She is excited to spend time with her loved ones and has already started packing for the festivities. Neha prefers to celebrate Diwali by lighting diyas and avoiding fireworks. She has also bought hand-painted clay lamps to make the occasion eco-friendly. Neha has done a lot of shopping for traditional ethnic clothing and is eager to make homemade treats for her guests, following the Maharashtrian tradition.
Yogesh Tripathi, who plays Daroga Happu Singh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, is planning to continue his family's tradition of Laxmi Pujan at home and joining his kids and neighbors for fireworks in their Mumbai community. He has received a to-do list from his wife and plans to surprise his on-screen family with home-cooked meals when they resume work after the festivities. Yogesh has already started his Diwali shopping and has picked up handcrafted items to decorate his home.
Vidisha Srivastava, who plays Anita Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, is excited about this year's Diwali celebrations as it is the first one for her daughter, 'Aadya.' She has gathered a collection of traditional outfits for her daughter and is planning a small photoshoot to capture the precious moments. Vidisha will also be helping her mother with cleaning, decorating their home, and making delicious snacks for their guests.
As the artists prepare for Diwali, &TV is airing Doosri Maa at 8:00 pm, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan at 10:00 pm, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai at 10:30 pm, every Monday to Friday. The festive season is a time for joy and togetherness, and the artists are eagerly looking forward to celebrating Diwali with their loved ones.
