With a passer rating of 122.6, 1,874 yards, 18 touchdowns, and only two interceptions, Prescott has led the Dallas Cowboys to five wins during this period. Pro Football Focus ranks him as the highest-graded quarterback in the NFL, putting him firmly in the running for league MVP honors. Despite being over analyzed and scrutinized when he doesn't play well, Prescott is finally receiving national recognition for his career-best hot streak.

The true mastermind behind the Cowboys' offense is coach Mike McCarthy, who serves as both the play caller and offensive coordinator. Early in the season, McCarthy received criticism for the team's offensive struggles, as they were ranked 17th in the league in offense and 20th in passing through the first five weeks. However, McCarthy has made significant changes, and the Cowboys' offense has improved drastically.

Following a loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Prescott began utilizing his feet more, and McCarthy released the reins on the offense.
