Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey out vs Chargers; WRs Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers active
Ravens' Marlon Humphrey out again, Chargers' defense weak. Ravens' offense at full strength. Andrews likely out for season. Other players inactive.
The Baltimore Ravens will be missing cornerback Marlon Humphrey for the second consecutive game as he continues to recover from a calf injury sustained in mid-November. This absence could put a strain on the Ravens' defense, as the Los Angeles Chargers have been averaging nearly 26 points per game and over 248 yards passing per game.
On the offensive side, the Ravens will have their full complement of wide receivers with Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers both active. This will be a boost for the team, especially with the likely season-ending ankle injury to tight end Mark Andrews. The Chargers' pass defense ranks 26th in the NFL, which could present opportunities for the Ravens' passing game.
In addition to Humphrey, Ravens linebackers Malik Harrison and Trenton Simpson, as well as center Sam Mustipher, guard Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, and quarterback Josh Johnson will also be inactive for the game. On the Chargers' side, tight end Nick Vannett, wide receiver Simi Fehoko, safety A.J. Finley, running back Elijah Dotson, offensive lineman Zack Bailey, and defensive lineman Scott Matlock will be inactive.
