The Notorious Style of American Human Rights: Understanding Its Impact and Implications
Washington DC policymakers mock human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. The U.S. is using Pakistan for its own interests.
The individuals making decisions in Washington DC, including the White House, State Department, and the US Capitol, are compared to modern-day gangster Al Capones. They appear to mock human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. For instance, while the Biden administration continues to lecture other countries on human rights and the rule of law, it remains silent as Pakistan's military-controlled caretaker government plans to try former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a kangaroo court with the goal of executing him. It is believed that these actions are a result of Khan's allegations against American policymakers and his remarks against Victoria Nuland. Pakistan is used as a breeding ground for terrorism by the United States, despite pretending to be a sovereign nation. The US supported Pakistan and opposed Bangladesh's war of independence in 1971 due to concerns about the spread of Soviet influence in the Indian subcontinent. They were also on the verge of a breakthrough in relations with China and did not want to condemn Pakistan's human rights violations publicly. Henry Kissinger even said that the US can turn a blind eye to human rights violations for the sake of national security. After more than five decades of independence, the US is now attempting to turn Bangladesh into a neo-Taliban state by bringing ultra-Islamist groups into power. This is a dangerous conspiracy that needs to be confronted by Bangladesh and India.
