Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga promises a thrilling return to the Wasteland with the trailer showcasing Anya Taylor-Joy as Imperator Furiosa.

Director George Miller is making a thrilling return to the Wasteland with the prequel to the 2015 hit Mad Max: Fury Road, titled Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. The recently unveiled trailer showcases Anya Taylor-Joy in the role of Imperator Furiosa, originally played by Charlize Theron.

The trailer, which was revealed at Brazil's CCXP, introduces audiences to the origins of Furiosa as she navigates a sinister world after being taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke join Taylor-Joy in key roles, and they discussed their characters and the intense filming experience during the event.

Chris Hemsworth, who plays Dementos, described his character as a violent and brutal individual born and shaped by the harsh Wasteland environment. According to him, Dementos has a manipulative charisma and rules with an iron fist.

The updated title, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, hints at a story that goes beyond the surface, deepening our understanding of this dystopian world. What's even more exciting is the reunion of the dream team behind the success of Mad Max: Fury Road. Margaret Sixel's masterful film editing, Jenny Beavan's iconic costume designs, and Junkie XL's pulse-pounding score are all making a triumphant return.
