Raiders Chargers inactives Maxx Crosby Davante Adams playing
Las Vegas Raiders to have star players Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams active in game against Los Angeles Chargers. Kickoff at 5:15 p.m. PT.
In a crucial game where injuries are looming, the Las Vegas Raiders will have star defensive end Maxx Crosby and star wide receiver Davante Adams active on Thursday night as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers at Allegiant Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 5:15 p.m. PT.
Crosby has been dealing with a knee injury, while Adams was previously listed as questionable due to illness. Additionally, the Raiders' star running back Josh Jacobs is inactive due to an injury sustained in the team's recent loss to Minnesota. This marks the first game Jacobs has missed since 2021, and 2022 fourth-round pick Zamir White is expected to step in and start in his place.
The Raiders will also be without center Andre James, who is dealing with an ankle injury, as well as left tackle Kolton Miller, who is sidelined with a shoulder injury. Dylan Parham is expected to fill in at center, with Jordan Meredith likely taking over at guard. This isn't the first time the Raiders have had to adjust their offensive line due to injuries, as they've had to make similar changes in previous games when Miller was unavailable.
In addition to the aforementioned players, the Raiders will have other inactive players for Thursday night's game. On the Chargers' side, star wide receiver Keenan Allen will be out due to a heel injury, and standout quarterback Justin Herbert is out for the season with a finger injury.
Despite these challenges, both teams are preparing to face off in what promises to be an intense and highly anticipated matchup.
