MLS broadcast plans for Inter Miami preseason games
Inter Miami's preseason schedule revealed, including 7 exhibition matches in 5 countries. Lionel Messi's arrival has sparked massive fan interest.
Inter Miami's preseason schedule for the 2024 Major League Soccer (MLS) season has been officially announced. The club, which had previously revealed an extensive fixture list for January and early February, will play seven exhibition matches in the next month.
In a departure from the norm, Miami will travel to four different countries for their preseason preparations. This decision was largely influenced by the arrival of soccer superstar Lionel Messi at the club. Since joining Miami in July, Messi has generated immense excitement and popularity in the United States, with his jerseys selling out quickly and tickets to watch him play becoming highly sought after.
The preseason tour will kick off with a match against the El Salvador national team on January 19, followed by a game against FC Dallas in Texas. Both of these matches will be available for streaming on MLSsoccer.com (English) and MLSes.com (Spanish). The remaining five preseason games will only be available on Apple TV's MLS Season Pass, the official streaming service for MLS matches.
Miami's international fixtures include matches against Al Hilal and Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, a game against a Hong Kong Premier League All-Star team, and a match against Japanese side Vissel Kobe. The team will wrap up their preseason with a home game against Newell's Old Boys on February 15, before kicking off the 2024 MLS season against Real Salt Lake.
The preseason schedule, which includes matches in different time zones, presents a unique opportunity for fans to watch Miami's preparations for the upcoming season. With the availability of live and on-demand streaming on MLS Season Pass, soccer enthusiasts can catch every single MLS match, making it a valuable investment for fans of the sport.
