Super Bowl LVIII is set to take place in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024, and will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+. The NFL has announced that Reba McEntire, Post Malone, Andra Day, and Usher will be performing at the event.
Country Music Hall of Famer Reba McEntire will sing the national anthem, while Post Malone will perform "America the Beautiful," and Andra Day will sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing." The performances will be produced and arranged by Emmy-winning musical director Adam Blackstone.
Reba McEntire expressed her excitement about being part of the historic Super Bowl event in Las Vegas for the first time on social media. Usher, who will headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, is preparing for the 13-minute set by drawing from his previous experience, including his 2011 appearance during the Black Eyed Peas' headline set.
In addition to the musical performances, American Sign Language performances will be featured at both the pre-game and the Super Bowl. Daniel Durant, Anjel Piñero, and Shaheem Sanchez will provide ASL interpretations for the national anthem, "America the Beautiful," and Usher's performance, respectively.
Usher emphasized the significance of the Super Bowl performance, acknowledging the challenge of narrowing down his extensive catalogue of celebrated songs for the 13-minute set. He also revealed that his ninth studio album, "Coming Home," will be released on the same day as his Super Bowl performance.
