Kristi Noem: Weak Biden not running White House
South Dakota governor Kristi Noem criticizes Biden's immigration policies, says he's weak and not in charge, calls it a socialist, communist agenda.
During a discussion about illegal immigration and the increasing problem it has become for the country during President Biden's administration, Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) has been in a feud with the Biden administration over the issue. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem was asked by Fox News host Maria Bartiromo why Biden would allow so many illegal immigrants into the United States, and what she believed his motivation to be.
In response, Noem expressed her belief that Biden is weak and that someone else is running the White House, stating, "He's never been this extreme. This is an extreme remaking of America, and it is a socialist, communist agenda." She also noted that the Democratic Party has significantly changed from what it once was 20 years ago and does not want "a strong America."
Noem recently visited the southern border with the Texas National Guard and the Texas Department of Public Safety and expressed her willingness to send her state National Guard to the "war zone" at the border. She is also one of over two dozen Republican governors who have backed Abbott's showdown against Biden over securing the border.
In addition to her stance on immigration, Noem has been at the center of speculation regarding who former President Donald Trump might pick for his 2024 vice presidential candidate, along with Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC). Other potential candidates rumored to be considered by Trump include Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Arizona 2024 Senate candidate Kari Lake, and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson.
Biden recently won South Carolina's Democratic presidential primary, earning 96% of the votes cast. In his victory speech, Biden thanked voters for setting him "on the path to winning the presidency again -- and making Donald Trump a loser -- again."
