Bobbi Althoff files for divorce amid denial of Drake affair
Influencer Bobbi Althoff's husband, Cory Althoff, files for divorce after she denies romance with Drake following deleted podcast interview.
Influencer Bobbi Althoff's husband, Cory Althoff, has officially filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for ending their four-year marriage. Court documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday revealed that the couple's date of separation was listed as July 4, 2023.
Cory is seeking shared physical and legal custody of their two daughters, one-year-old Isla and three-year-old Luca. This news comes just six months after Bobbi denied having a romance with Drake, following the deletion of a podcast interview with the music star and their subsequent unfollowing of each other on Instagram.
The podcast interview had gone viral in July 2023, but was mysteriously taken down from Bobbi's The Really Good Podcast YouTube channel. Despite speculation about a potential romance, Bobbi spoke out about her alleged beef with the rapper, denying any sexual relationship in a private message to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who later shared the conversation on his Instagram account.
Fans were left puzzled by the deletion of the interview, especially after Bobbi had shared a post of herself attending Drake's concert just one day before removing the popular episode. Some speculated that Drake may have taken offense, while others questioned whether the entire situation was a publicity stunt.
At the time of reporting, Bobbi and Drake still do not follow each other on Instagram, and the only evidence of the interview on her channel is a few 'Shorts' teasers released before the entire interview went live.
Bobbi first found fame on TikTok in 2021, posting relatable content about her children and pregnancy experiences. She then launched her podcast in April of this year, where she has been praised for her deadpan humor while chatting with big-name rappers such as Drake, Tyga, and Lil Yachty.
The former momfluencer's rise to fame began with a viral TikTok video about the challenges of breastfeeding a newborn in 2022. She explained that Drake had liked clips from her interview with comedian Funny Marco and then followed her, which led her to reach out and ask him to be on her podcast. She flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode, showcasing her determination and initiative in securing high-profile guests for her show.
