The Philadelphia Eagles have been busy on the first day of the NFL's legal tampering window, making deals and grabbing headlines. General manager Howie Roseman is expected to continue this trend throughout the offseason as free agents can officially sign contracts on Wednesday, March 13.

One of the biggest signings for the Eagles was Saquon Barkley, who agreed to a three-year, $37.75 million contract with the team. The former New York Giants running back could earn up to $46.75 million with $26 million fully guaranteed. Barkley, a former star at Penn State University, has established himself as one of the best three-down backs in the NFL.

The Eagles also addressed their pass rush by signing Bryce Huff to a three-year, $51.1 million contract. Huff, coming off a career year with the New York Jets, recorded 10 sacks last season. The Eagles also added former New Orleans Saints linebacker Zack Baun to their defense on a one-year deal.

In addition to these new signings, the Eagles locked up one of their own by extending Landon Dickerson with a four-year contract that makes him the highest-paid guard in NFL history. Dickerson, a two-time Pro Bowler, has been a key player on the Eagles' offensive line.

The team also brought back veteran defensive end Brandon Graham for a franchise-record 15th season with a one-year contract. Graham, a fan favorite in Philadelphia, has 73 career sacks with the Eagles.

With these moves, the Eagles are shaping up to be a competitive team in the upcoming season, and fans can expect more exciting developments as the offseason progresses.
