Police release video Riley Strain disappearance night
University of Missouri student Riley Strain missing in Nashville. New video released, search ongoing. Friends, family desperate for his safe return.
On the night of his disappearance, 22-year-old Riley Strain was last seen in downtown Nashville, as shown in a newly released video by detectives. Strain, a University of Missouri student, went missing on March 8 after being ejected from Luke's 32 BRIDGE, Luke Bryan's popular Broadway bar, according to his friends. Since then, there has been no contact or sightings of Strain.
In the video, Strain can be seen wearing the same distinctive two-toned shirt he had on the night he vanished, crossing First Avenue North to Gay Street near the Cumberland River at 9:47 p.m. His friends reported losing sight of him after he was removed from the bar, prompting a search effort that has yet to yield any results in locating the missing 22-year-old.
Despite efforts to track him through Snapchat location and phone calls, all attempts to reach Strain have been unsuccessful, with calls going straight to voicemail. Strain's parents have traveled from Springfield, Missouri to Nashville to aid in the search for their son.
Local authorities have scoured hospitals, jails, and conducted a phone ping in hopes of finding Strain, but so far, their efforts have been in vain. The search for Strain continues in Downtown Nashville, with TC Restaurant Group, the operator of Luke's 32 Bridge, collaborating closely with the Metro Nashville Police Department to provide security camera footage and any other useful information to assist in the search.
As the search for Strain persists, our thoughts are with his family and loved ones, hoping for his safe return.
