Starting off with the Edmonton Oilers, star player Connor McDavid is currently day-to-day with a lower-body injury and is questionable for the upcoming game against the Arizona Coyotes. McDavid, who has 31 goals and 130 points in 74 games this season, missed a recent game against the Vegas Golden Knights. Defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin is back in the lineup, while Conor Timmins and Jake McCabe are out due to maintenance. Forward Connor Dewar will be in the lineup, with Noah Gregor as a healthy scratch. Goaltender Ilya Samsonov will start in net, with defenseman Timothy Liljegren returning to the ice after being sidelined with an upper-body injury.
