EA Sports unveils covers for "College Football 25" video game featuring college stars, set to release July 19. Pre-order now!
EA Sports is on the verge of launching its highly anticipated video game "College Football 25," with the release date set for July 19. The company recently unveiled two covers for the game, one featuring Colorado's Travis Hunter, Texas' Quinn Ewers, and Michigan's Donovan Edwards on the standard edition, while the deluxe edition cover showcases the trio walking out of a tunnel alongside players from various schools.
This marks EA Sports' return to college football gaming since the discontinuation of its "NCAA Football" series in 2013 due to legal issues surrounding player likeness. However, with the NCAA now allowing players to profit from their name, image, and likeness, the company has been able to revive the game.
"College Football 25" will include 134 FBS schools, with over 11,000 players agreeing to have their likeness featured in the game for a compensation of $600 and a copy of the game. Hunter, Ewers, and Edwards are the first active college players to grace the cover of the game, with each player representing their respective schools with pride.
In a historic move, EA Sports has announced that a comprehensive look at "College Football 25" will be revealed on Friday, building up excitement among fans. The game is now available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, promising an immersive and realistic college football gaming experience for players worldwide.
