In a sincere message posted on Facebook, Mayor Collins expressed his regret on behalf of the city for the unfortunate incident that took place over the holiday weekend. He emphasized the importance of spending quality time with loved ones and extended an invitation for a redo date night with a complimentary dinner as a gesture of goodwill.

The video, shared by the popular Philly-based podcast WTTW Podcast on Instagram, captured the unsettling moment when a woman aggressively confronted Kylie Kelce in Margate City while Jason Kelce looked on. The clip, although brief, depicted the woman making threatening remarks towards Kylie, indicating that she would not be welcome in town again.

According to Hugh E. Dillon, the incident occurred as the Kelces were enjoying Memorial Day weekend in Sea Isle, New Jersey, and heading to a local restaurant in Margate. Dillon, a prominent blogger, revealed on social media that the woman had demanded a photo with Kylie, who politely declined due to being on a date with her husband. Despite Kylie's refusal, the woman persisted and resorted to shouting at her before the couple decided to enter the restaurant and enjoy their evening.

Dillon praised Kylie for handling the situation with grace and commended Jason for his supportive presence during the ordeal. Although neither Kylie nor Jason has publicly addressed the incident or Mayor Collins' apology, the community stands in solidarity with the couple and condemns any form of unwarranted aggression or hostility towards them.
