Prince William New Inner Circle Royals Replacement Brothers
Prince Harry not in Prince William's inner circle for years. Support from cousin Peter Phillips and brother-in-law Mike Tindall. Bond sees bright future.
Prince Harry has been out of Prince William's inner circle for quite some time now, leaving the future King of Wales to rely on a different support system. According to royal expert Jennie Bond, William's support network includes two fellow British royals who have been there for him through thick and thin.
Despite the absence of his brother Harry, William can lean on his cousin Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, and Mike Tindall, the husband of Zara Tindall. Bond describes Phillips as almost like a brother to William, noting his down-to-earth nature and unwavering support for both William and Harry in times of need. Phillips even acted as a buffer between the two brothers at Prince Philip's funeral, physically bridging the gap between them to maintain peace.
At a Buckingham Palace garden party in 2024, William was seen surrounded by his inner circle, including Phillips and Tindall. Bond believes this gathering gave a glimpse of the future when William ascends to the throne, showcasing the loyal and close relatives who will stand by him in his kingship.
Despite Harry's hope for a reunion with William, their relationship remains strained. Harry's visit to London for the 10-year Invictus Games anniversary in May 2024 did not result in support from senior royals. Meghan reportedly views a reconciliation as a losing battle, but Harry continues to strive for it, even amidst his father's cancer diagnosis and Kate's chemotherapy.
It has been over four years since Harry left royal life, and his interactions with William have been minimal. The brothers last saw each other at their father's coronation in May 2023 and prior to that at Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022. Despite their differences, William can rely on his inner circle of trusted relatives to support him as he prepares to take on the responsibilities of kingship.
