"Indicted Sidney Powell's Descent: Election Conspiracy Theories and $25 Signed Photos Continue"
Sidney Powell, charged with conspiracy to commit election fraud, continues to promote election conspiracy theories and merchandise discounts.
In the face of her recent indictment in Georgia, Sidney Powell remains defiant and continues to engage in spreading election conspiracy theories while also promoting merchandise with discount codes. Alongside former President Donald Trump, Powell was one of 18 individuals charged in Georgia, accused of conspiracy to commit election fraud and attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the state.
This marks the fifth indictment for Trump and the fourth criminal case he has faced. Powell, however, is dealing with additional legal troubles as she is being sued for defamation by voting-technology companies Dominion and Smartmatic. Despite these legal challenges, Powell has not refrained from using X (formerly Twitter) to perpetuate debunked conspiracy theories claiming that the election was stolen from Trump.
One of her recent posts included a graphic featuring two lines, one red and one blue, insinuating baseless allegations that votes intended for Trump were manipulated and added to President Joe Biden's final count. In addition to her online activities, Powell has also been actively promoting merchandise through her online store. She encouraged her followers to use the promo code SIDNEY20 for a 20% discount on her website, where items such as her book, "Licensed to Lie: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice (Second Edition)," are available for purchase. The book is priced at $35 for a hardback copy, but the paperback version is currently on sale for $8.95.
For dedicated Sidney Powell fans, there is also an option to buy an 8.5-inch-by-11-inch glossy photo signed by her, priced at $25 before applying the discount code. Powell's determination to maintain her public image is not unique, as Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York who was also indicted in Georgia, appeared on Newsmax to criticize Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, calling her "incompetent" and questioning her integrity.
Interestingly, Giuliani admitted during a livestream before the indictment that he was "very nervous and sweating and upset" about the charges he was facing in Georgia, particularly the racketeering charge. Despite the developments and the seriousness of the situation, Powell has not provided a comment in response to a request from Insider outside of regular business hours.
