Her book, titled "Enough," is set to be released in September and contains other shocking revelations.
Cassidy Hutchsinson, a former Trump administration aide and whistleblower in the January 6 investigation, recently revealed that she had to leave Washington after testifying against the former president and his allies. In an interview with CBS News, Hutchsinson shared that her lawyers advised her to get out of the US capital, forcing her to move to Atlanta for several months. Despite being a Republican, Hutchsinson stated that she will no longer support Mr. Trump, emphasizing that he is dangerous for the country and has repeatedly spread lies to maintain power.
Hutchsinson's upcoming memoir, titled "Enough," is scheduled to be released in September and promises to unveil more shocking and embarrassing revelations. One such revelation is that Mr. Trump allegedly refused to wear a mask during the early days of the Covid pandemic because he feared it would stain his orange bronzer. This decision, according to Hutchsinson, influenced many of his followers to also reject masks. Additionally, Hutchsinson claims that she was sexually assaulted by attorney Rudy Giuliani on January 6 while other Trump advisors looked on.
Ted Goodman, a political adviser to Mr. Giuliani, responded to Hutchsinson's allegations by questioning the timing of her claims and suggesting that they were part of a marketing campaign for her book release.
Hutchsinson gained prominence during the January 6 investigation when she provided damaging testimony about Trump's behavior during the insurrection. In a televised hearing, she accused Trump allies of seeking pardons and claimed that Mark Meadows had burned documents. Hutchsinson also alleged that Trump tried to take control of a Secret Service vehicle and expressed indifference towards armed protesters in Washington.
Trump dismissed Hutchsinson's testimony, calling her a social climber and expressing disappointment in the situation unfolding in the country.
