LB Elandon Roberts, RB Najee Harris active for Steelers vs. Patriots game
Pittsburgh Steelers Najee Harris, Isaac Seumalo, Elandon Roberts, and Mason Cole are active for the game against the New England Patriots.
The Pittsburgh Steelers faced off against the New England Patriots at Acrisure Stadium, with four starters who were listed as questionable ultimately suiting up for the game. Running back Najee Harris, left guard Isaac Seumalo, inside linebacker Elandon Roberts, and center Mason Cole were all active for the matchup.
Harris, who had been dealing with a knee injury, and Seumalo, who had a shoulder issue, both managed to take the field despite missing practice time earlier in the week. Cole and Roberts, who were limited in practice, also managed to play in the game.
However, there were some unexpected names on the inactive list, including outside linebacker Markus Golden, who was not listed on the injury report, and defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal, who was inactive for the second time this season. The return of nose tackle Montravius Adams after a four-game absence meant there was no room for Leal on the game-day roster.
In addition to Golden and Leal, cornerback James Pierre, quarterback Kenny Pickett, running back Anthony McFarland, and tackle Dylan Cook were also inactive for the Steelers. However, veteran linebacker Blake Martinez was active for the first time since signing with the team, and linebacker Kyron Johnson was elevated from the practice squad.
On the Patriots' side, wide receivers DeVante Parker, Kayshon Boutte, and Demario Douglas, cornerback Shaun Wade, running backs Rhamondre Stevenson and Jamycal Hasty, and tackle Vederian Lowe were all inactive for the game.
