Hundreds of sealed court filings linked to Jeffrey Epstein will be revealed, following a case filed by Virginia Giuffre.
In a highly significant legal development, a large number of sealed court filings related to the infamous late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein are set to be unveiled this week. This comes after United States District Judge Loretta Preska ruled that there is no legal justification for maintaining confidentiality regarding the names of prominent individuals, including Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton, as reported by NDTV.
The unsealing process, which commenced this week, has shed light on Epstein's connections to influential figures following a case filed by Virginia Giuffre against British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, alleging her involvement in Epstein's alleged sex trafficking activities. Giuffre has accused Maxwell of defaming her by denying her claims of sexual trafficking and abuse during her time as a minor from 1999 to 2002. Epstein's prosecution was halted when he passed away by suicide in August 2019, despite facing legal scrutiny.
The sealed records mention Bill Clinton, referred to as "Doe 36," 50 times. While Giuffre did not directly accuse Clinton, she claimed to have seen him with two young women on Epstein's island, which he denies visiting. Despite his denial, flight records indicate that he used Epstein's plane for international trips post-presidency.
According to the records, another victim, Johanna Sjoberg, testified that Epstein once told her that Clinton "likes them young," referring to girls. Sjoberg also testified that in 2001, when traveling to one of Donald Trump's casinos in New Jersey, Epstein promised her he would get in touch with him. She stated that after the pilots informed them that their plane would not be able to land in New York and would instead need to stop in Atlantic City, New Jersey, "Jeffrey said, 'Great, we'll call up Trump." There are no accusations of Trump's malfeasance in the documents.
During the deposition, Sjoberg was questioned if she ever gave Trump a massage, to which she replied, "No." The documents also mention late pop sensation Michael Jackson and magician David Copperfield, whom Sjoberg says she had met through Epstein, although she did not allege any wrongdoing by them. Additionally, the documents also mention Jean-Luc Brunel, the French modeling agent who killed himself in a Paris jail in 2022 while awaiting rape charges, and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
In her deposition, Giuffre stated that she was forced to have sex with prominent figures including Richardson. Before his death last year, Richardson denied ever meeting Giuffre and was not charged with any crime. Among others, Alfredo Rodriguez, a household employee who was tasked with security for Epstein, was also mentioned describing Maxwell as "the boss" in his testimony, according to the court files. Rodriguez, who passed away in 2015, was told to carry cash at all times to give to high school girls and the girls who were helping recruit for Epstein, the documents state.
In addition to the mentioned figures, other personalities such as Google co-founder Larry Page, Billionaire hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin, Professor Stephen Hawking, Nobel laureate Lawrence Krauss, comedian Chris Tucker, actor Kevin Spacey, Victoria's Secret magnate Les Wexner, and model Naomi Campbell were reported to have visited Jeffrey Epstein's Island. This revelation comes as a significant development in the ongoing legal saga involving Epstein's associates and their alleged involvement in his illicit activities.
