Neon recently released the trailer for the upcoming psychological horror film Immaculate, starring Sydney Sweeney and directed by Michael Mohan. The trailer introduces Sweeney's character, Cecilia, a religious woman in a convent in Italy, who experiences a series of horrific incidents and is revealed to be mysteriously pregnant with a child. As the story unfolds, Cecilia's new journey in the convent quickly devolves into a nightmare as she encounters sinister secrets and unspeakable horrors.
The film, written by Andrew Lobel, also features a talented cast including Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli, Simona Tabasco, Benedetta Porcaroli, and Giampiero Judica. Immaculate is produced by Sweeney, Jonathan Davino, Teddy Schwarzman, and Michael Heimler, with Christopher Casanova, John Friedberg, and Will Greenfield serving as executive producers.
