Shaq Reacts Ex-Wife Statement Never Loved Him

While O'Neal did not directly mention Henderson in his post, his response followed closely after Essence revealed an excerpt from her new book, "Undefeated: Changing the Rules and Winning on my Own Terms," where she pondered if she was ever truly in love with the basketball legend.

Reflecting on their relationship, Henderson wrote, "Looking back, I don't know that I was ever really in love with the man, but I was in love with the idea of being married to the man I had a family with." She added, "I was in love with the idea of building a life together. I truly did enjoy spending time with him."

The couple tied the knot in 2002 and finalized their divorce settlement in 2010 after separating in the previous year. They are proud parents to four children: sons Shareef and Shaqir, and daughters Amirah and Me'arah.
