Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 33 points and 15 assists, while Obi Toppin added 27 points. The Pacers improved to 2-0 in pool play, taking the lead in the tourney's East Group A standings, while the 76ers slipped to 1-1.
In another game, the Miami Heat secured a 111-105 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, with Jimmy Butler scoring a season-high 32 points, and Bam Adebayo contributing 21 points and 11 rebounds. The Heat remained unbeaten in the in-season tournament, advancing to 2-0 in group play, while the Hornets are 1-1.
The New Orleans Pelicans snapped a five-game losing streak with a 131-110 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Brandon Ingram and rookie Jordan Hawkins each scored 25 points, and Zion Williamson and Herb Jones added 19 points each.
