The BET Awards once again proved to be the pinnacle of cultural celebration with its 2024 ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Hosted by Taraji P. Henson for the third year in a row, the event showcased a star-studded lineup of industry icons, experts, and tastemakers.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a special appearance to discuss the importance of voting, and Will Smith debuted his new single "You Can Make It" with Sunday Service, Kirk Franklin, and Chandler Moore. The night also featured performances from GloRilla, Shaboozey, and a tribute to Usher for his Lifetime Achievement Award.

Monét's mother joined her on stage to accept the BET HER Award, and Usher was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by iconic production team Jimmy Jam and Jerry Lewis.
